Aim: To practice descriptive language for art.
Age range: Suitable for higher level students.
Get students to leave comments about the pictures below.
Other language aims may include practising extreme adjectives (I think the Monet is absolutely wonderful), practising language of emotions (The Constable makes me feel...)
Alternatively they could set up their own wiki on http://writeboard.com/ and use their comments about the artwork as the basis for a story that has just happened to them. Their descriptions of the artwork forming scenes in the story.
